February 2015

Throughout February we’ve been overseeing garden construction, working on design plans and starting new projects.

We mentioned in last months post that construction was due to start on a funky garden for a family in Leytonstone, the project is now underway and you can see build updates on our Facebook page. We are using a beautiful handmade clay paver to tie in with the dominant brick railway arch at the end of the garden. To offset these we’ll be laying a bright orange resin terrace. Can’t wait to see this!

Not far away in upper Leytonstone another project has been started, this time a low maintenance garden with a focus on entertaining. We’ll post more updates as the garden progresses.

We have been finalising the planting design for a large garden in East Sheen, the build is scheduled to start next week. It’s an exciting project with a focal point bioethanol fireplace clad with textural stone tiles. We’ll be onsite for the first meeting next week so more news to follow.

In Wimbledon we presented our concept design to the client who loved the scheme, a contemporary, stylised woodland/wildlife garden. We hope to move to presentation design stage very soon.

And we surveyed our latest project in Woodford Green, a small garden with steep terracing.

We’re set for another busy month and looking forward to seeing the gardens take shape.
